After a successful year of ocean school in 2024, It’s time to brush the cobwebs off your beach shoes and come along to Allonby to learn all about the ocean!

These sessions are a 4 part block aimed towards homeschooled children, where we will learn all about different aspects of the ocean and the UK shoreline with interactive activities right on the beach. Everyone is welcome!

I will be releasing more dates in the summer holidays for children who can’t make these dates as they are in school 🥰

We are delighted to let you know that we will be holding 4 FREE Family Christmas Crafts events in December.

Dates for your diary:

Tuesday 3rd December at 3.15-4.45pm – Rosley Village Hall

Thursday 5th December at 3.15-4.45pm- Bolton Low Houses Village Hall

Saturday 7th December (2 events):

10am- 12 noon- Bolton Low Houses Village Hall

2-4pm- Ireby Globe Hall

Please book your place by emailing [email protected] with the following info:

• Which event(s) you’re attending
• Number of people attending (so we can ensure we have the right quantities of materials/ refreshments!)
• Age of children (so we can ensure we cater for a range of ages!)

Please note the following:

• Whilst these are free events, if you wish you can make a cash donation to NFG on the day, however there is no expectation!

• These are family events so unlike holiday clubs, parents/ carers will need to supervise their children.

• There are limited places so please book your place asap!

🦈 Autumn Ocean School Block 🦈

Im excited to announce the next block of Ocean school, where we will learn about lots of different marine based topics such as tides, marine animals, conservation, tide pooling, seashells, birds and much more! It’s a great opportunity for your children to socialise and meet likeminded individuals whilst also learning about our oceans 🌍💙

The sessions are primarily held for home educated children or any child not in school for any reason, all children welcome!
