The Staff at Pixies Den:

MeMe (Maria):
- MeMe (Maria) is our Pixie Playleader and Chief Pixie, the founder of the Den.
- With over 30 years experience in Childcare, and former jobs including Midwifery, Nursing and Childcare training, your wee Pixie is in safe hands with MeMe and the team.
- MeMe is DBS checked, first aid trained, safeguarding trained and food hygiene trained. DJ (Devan):
- Dev

an is our Lead Pixie Playmaker.
- MeMe's 19 year old son, Devan, is the newest member of the team. Having grown up with Pixie's Den, including being a Pixie himself once upon a time, Devan is a great Playmate to the children whilst doing his training to become a fully qualified Assistant.
- Devan is DBS checked and first aid trained. Millie:
- Millie is our Part-Time Pixie Playmaker and Social Media Manager.
- MeMe's grown up 27 year old daughter, Millie has worked for Pixie's Den on and off since 2015. She has previously worked as a teaching assistant with SEN specialism, a nanny and is a qualified childminder in her own right. She is also a drama teacher in the local area and puts a lot of emphasis on learning through expression.
- Millie is DBS checked.

When you go down to the woods each day - you’re sure of a good fun day

We are now used to spending some of each and everyday in our woodland. Today was just too raining and we all missed it so- just a little rain forecast for tomorrow so wellies and suits and off we go again. It’s getting wild and green out there, who knows what we will find...
