Tonight a classic example of pushing out of one's comfort zone, I went to a salsa social event and having next to no clue what I'm doing was greeted with polite helpful people sharing the knowledge to get me started!

Rest is just as important as the work you put in.
Hello everybody! I know I've been quiet for sometime however the past few years has seen many struggles on a personal level.
That being said I can announce new beginnings.
I will be working as the fitness instructor for Glasgow club Maryhill from the end of this month. Glasgow club have many venues city wide! Feel free to join Glasgow club or become a pay and go member or If your already a member you will find me in the Maryhill gym. Let's work togetherr to become healthier and stronger.

Circuits a quick way to achieve effective results in a short time. For me today it's 8 exercises with only rest moving to the next exercise until completion of 25 reps per station, rest for 2 minutes at end then repeat a further 2x BOOM GET IT DONE

Diet. It's a struggle
Why?
Well temptation /chemically enhanced flavours /cost are all why we are lured to bad foods versus good.
Let me put it this way a macdonalds burger is say 89p and yet a salad can be upwards of £2.00 in most places, it's no wonder we reach for the cheaper option but let's face it the taste of junk foods feeds the reward part of our brain, the part where we feel good briefly eating a bar of choc and drinking wine /beer after a hard day, its all chemicals reacting with our brains and retraining our taste buds.
What is the point of my post?
It's a mind field out there with various info in magazines and social media channels and "trends" but make no mistake the best results will come from investing in a trainer and following a meal plan, diet training is equally as hard as your physical sessions, to stick to it and battle the cravings is super tough.
The goverment doesn't want us living longer than nessacary thus the cost of healthy v unhealthy is more expensive. Invest in you invest in a nutrition plan with a proffessional.
