Students at Flegg High Ormiston Academy celebrated a fantastic set of GCSE results today, marking an important milestone for both the young people receiving their grades and the wider Flegg community.

The class of 2026 has much to celebrate, with students securing strong outcomes across a wide range of subjects and taking their next steps towards exciting futures.

These achievements reflect the continued progress being made at Flegg, with today’s results being a positive indication of the school’s focus on high expectations, strong teaching and creating an environment in which students are supported to do well.

What an incredible evening! 🌟 This week, we hosted our very first Flegg Stars Oscars-style Awards Night, celebrating the achievements of over 60 amazing Flegg Stars across 19 award categories with a special commendation for each category in recognition of their outstanding contributions.

Yesterday wrapped up with an action-packed Rewards BBQ, where students celebrated with great food and an afternoon full of exciting activities. The fun included thrilling go-karts, an epic Nerf battle, tug of war and a fantastic range of circus games, making it a memorable end to the day.

We can’t wait to be part of the carnival this weekend! We’ll be on the main green with our huge tombola and lots of FREE craft activities for all ages. So much work goes into organising this free community event so please come along and support our village
