A little update from me 📚

I’m incredibly proud to have tutored so many wonderful students over the last six years, alongside my own studies and working full time.

This summer, I was delighted to complete my Maths degree, and I am now starting the next exciting chapter as I begin my teacher training year.

With the demands of this important year, I’ve made the decision to focus fully on my own development and, therefore, I’m unable to take on any new students at the moment.

I have always loved my private tuition sessions and the relationships I’ve built with my students and their families. I fully intend to return to tutoring again in the future, but for now, I need to concentrate on this next stage of my journey. 🎓

A huge thank you to all of my previous students and parents for your continued support and for recommending me to others. It really has meant so much to me. ❤️

I’ll hopefully be back to tutoring before too long!

RECOMMENDATION OF RHYS DICKINSON - MATHS & SCIENCE TUTOR

Rhys is a first class Maths and (Combined) Science tutor and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to you.

I engaged him at a time when my daughter was in dire straits and the situation was desperate; her MOCKs were a disaster. In came Rhys, like a breath of fresh air. He instantly got to work; breaking down every obstacle and explaining all the topics in such a way that she could finally understand.

As time progressed, her confidence grew and grew, and I saw a sea-change in her approach – she was improving as were her grades. Effectively going from near ungraded to either a standard or strong pass in Maths and both Combined Science papers (3 subjects). FANTASTIC!

Rhys was well-prepared for each session, and he tailored every single lesson according to her ability, holding her interest and engagement throughout. He moved at her pace and recorded her progress; conscious of her exact needs. I never felt that she was rushed or pressured; only that she was being encouraged to do her best and that a pass possible. This would have been totally unthinkable without his tutelage.

She never once said she didn’t want to do the tutoring or the extra homework set. She would look forward to the tutoring so she could comfortably ask her questions and work through the answer. A safe pair of hands to guide her to the ultimate goal.

I can now look forward to positive results in August and only wish that I’d engaged Rhys earlier. (My daughter gives him a glowing review – saying that she learnt a lot, Rhys was really helpful and worth the money – adding that if she’d had him for longer, she might have attempted the higher level). I urge other parents/carers to utilise this first-class tutor at their earliest opportunity.

I now have some availability to take on new pupils for GCSE Maths tutoring.

Pupils going into Year 10 or 11 in September.

I am currently working full time in a High School as a Teaching Assistant and also currently working towards my Maths degree.

I have had a lot of interest from people looking for additional tutoring. Unfortunately, although I wish I could help you all, I just do not have the time to take on any new pupils.

I am currently working full time and doing a Maths Degree so the time I have for tutoring is very limited.

The goal is to become a Maths teacher so I will always continue to private tutor when I can.

I will post on this page if spaces become available in the future.
