RECOMMENDATION OF RHYS DICKINSON - MATHS & SCIENCE TUTOR
Rhys is a first class Maths and (Combined) Science tutor and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to you.
I engaged him at a time when my daughter was in dire straits and the situation was desperate; her MOCKs were a disaster. In came Rhys, like a breath of fresh air. He instantly got to work; breaking down every obstacle and explaining all the topics in such a way that she could finally understand.
As time progressed, her confidence grew and grew, and I saw a sea-change in her approach – she was improving as were her grades. Effectively going from near ungraded to either a standard or strong pass in Maths and both Combined Science papers (3 subjects). FANTASTIC!
Rhys was well-prepared for each session, and he tailored every single lesson according to her ability, holding her interest and engagement throughout. He moved at her pace and recorded her progress; conscious of her exact needs. I never felt that she was rushed or pressured; only that she was being encouraged to do her best and that a pass possible. This would have been totally unthinkable without his tutelage.
She never once said she didn’t want to do the tutoring or the extra homework set. She would look forward to the tutoring so she could comfortably ask her questions and work through the answer. A safe pair of hands to guide her to the ultimate goal.
I can now look forward to positive results in August and only wish that I’d engaged Rhys earlier. (My daughter gives him a glowing review – saying that she learnt a lot, Rhys was really helpful and worth the money – adding that if she’d had him for longer, she might have attempted the higher level). I urge other parents/carers to utilise this first-class tutor at their earliest opportunity.
