My name is Helen Redman and I have worked in Further Education supporting young people and adults with a range of needs and abilities for 15 years, and managed support teams for the last 8 years. I been part of the NATSPEC Committee for Assistive Technology and I am currently working towards Microsoft Educators Awards. I have provided support and advocacy to a range of individuals with learning difficulties and disabilities and parents. My qualifications include: BA (Hons) Education, OCR Level 5 Diploma in Teaching Learners with Dyslexia/SpLD, British Sign Language Level 2.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting the NWY ASBAH social group to deliver a LEGO session for adults. Partners worked together to create stunning LEGO flower stems whilst practising their communication and dexterity skills!

The final result... a beautiful summer bouquet! We were thrilled that everyone had such a good time :)

🌟We had a great time today making a creeper ambush scene with Lego! Two children, who had never met before, worked and played together.
