As part of our preparations for STEM Week and our upcoming Science Fair, Year 6 explored how individuals around the world are challenging and breaking down stereotypes in science.
We discussed the stereotypes that still exist in society and considered how they can limit people from reaching their full potential. The children then chose a stereotype they wanted to challenge, wrote it down, and dissolved it in water. A powerful symbol of rejecting these barriers within our school community.
We are proud to see our pupils thinking critically, standing up for equality, and embracing a future where science is for everyone.
