We are so excited to welcome all our children back to Marlow Infant School for a brand-new school year! 🎒📚✨ We hope you’ve had a wonderful summer and are ready for a year filled with learning, laughter, friendship, adventures and fun. 💙

Yesterday, our Year 2 children said a special goodbye as they released the beautiful butterflies they have carefully nurtured over the past few weeks.

Watching them spread their wings and fly away was the perfect way to mark our Year 2s' last day. Just like the butterflies, our Year 2 children have grown, blossomed, and are now ready to spread their own wings as they begin an exciting new chapter.

We are so proud of each and every one of you. Wishing all our Year 2 children a wonderful summer and every success in the adventures ahead 🦋

🌿💚 Gratitude in the Great Outdoors 💚🌿

Our Year 1 children enjoyed a wonderful outdoor learning session with Dan, exploring the importance of gratitude.

The children went on a gratitude hunt around the school grounds, searching for things they are thankful for and taking time to appreciate the world around them. From friends and teachers to nature and play spaces, they discovered so many reasons to be grateful!

To finish the session, the children created their own Gratitude Washing Line, proudly displaying all the things that bring them joy and appreciation. It was lovely to see such thoughtful reflections and hear their kind words.

We certainly have some very grateful children in Year 1! 😊🍃

🌍🧭 Geography Explorers in Year 2! 🧭🌍

Our Year 2 children have been busy in Geography lessons, exploring the Equator, discovering the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, and discussing how climate can be different depending on where you are in the world. ☀️❄️🌧️

The children loved identifying countries on maps, learning about hot and cold climates, and thinking about what life might be like in different parts of our planet.

🌿Year 2 Adventures at Wittenham Clumps🌿

Wow! What a wonderful day had by all of Year 2 at Wittenham Clumps!
We climbed the big hill, explored the woodland, discovered lots of fascinating mini beasts 🦗🐞, and enjoyed some exciting pond dipping 🐸

A lovely day filled with fresh air, freedom, curiosity, and time in nature 🌳🌞
