The Marlow Day Nursery

The Marlow Day Nursery We are a family run private nursery providing childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We ha We are open 51 weeks a year from 8am - 6pm.

The Marlow Day Nursery is based in Marlow, close to the town centre, ideally situated for commuters. We have access to a large car park where parking is free of charge. A 7:30 am early start is available. Half and full day sessions are available. We also offer 15 and 30 hour funding. Our nursery consists of 3 rooms. Little stars is our baby unit, Big stars is our toddlers and Moons is our pre-sch

ool which is made up of two rooms. We have access to three large outside areas via a ramp or steps down from our pre-school unit. This includes our mud kitchen. We have a range of discounts available:

5% Quarterly payments

This afternoon we had our Easter Celebration afternoon! 🐰🐣

We were so disappointed to have to cancel the Nursery Easter Egg Hunt due to the weather, but had a lovely time at our Easter Bonnet Parade!

The children in Moons room have been making their very own rainbows 🌈

The children placed skittles around the edge of their bowls and then added enough water to reach the middle of the skittle.

Look at the rainbows we made 😊

Why not try and make a rainbow over the weekend. All you need is some skittles, water and a white plate or bowl! We would love to see how your rainbows 🌈 look 😊

🥀 Remembrance Day 🥀

This week, our pre-school children visited the cenotaph in Marlow to see the wreaths that were laid on Remembrance Sunday, and to lay their own poppy pot which they had made. This also furthered their understanding following learning about Remembrance Day the previous week

The children learnt about what the silhouettes on the benches represented, and also about the purple poppies for the animals that died during the war.

🪔 Diwali 2023 🪔

The children have been learning all about Diwali this week, and we celebrated on Thursday with lovely food cooked by Nicki!

We had a coconut chicken curry and red, with a red lentil dhal and poppadoms for lunch 🥘 followed by a yummy tea of humous, mint and yogurt dip, warmed naan bread and vegetable sticks!

We would like to wish Sunitha and all of our families celebrating Diwali this weekend, a very Happy Diwali 🪔🎉

🌽🌾 Harvest Festival 2023 🌾🌽

Our parents at nursery have been so generous in donating dry goods for the children to make into hampers to give to our elderly neighbours.

Today and yesterday our toddler and pre-school children have delivered these hampers, and our neighbours were so grateful at this kind gesture 🤗

The children regularly go outside to water their plants and today, picked the tomatoes for snack!
