🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

The time has come to bid a heartfelt goodbye to the wonderful St Albans community and say a BIG hello to our new home - Marlow! 🏡

I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the amazing families I've had the privilege of working with during our time in St Albans. I'll miss each and every one of you.

And now, it's time to start a new adventure in Marlow! I'm so excited to meet all of you soon and to be a part of helping your children find their voices in the classroom and inspire them to dive into new challenges without the fear of making mistakes. 📚

The weather has been getting lovely and warm over the last few weeks, so we have been able to get outside and learn with nature! We have been having so much fun! 😁☀️

In maths sessions we have been making arrays out of stones, finding times tables naturally occurring all around us, measuring and designing vegetable patches and using our times tables knowledge to work out how many seeds and plants we will need- real life problem solving! We have been using our senses in English sessions, thinking about descriptive language while planning and writing nature poems and setting descriptions for our stories. We have even combined English and maths together and have created times tables characters for a times tables story that can help other children learn them too!

Having these one-to-one sessions allows us to create activities that revolve around a child's interests and their natural talents. What better way to learn than doing things you love?

If you feel your child could do with some one-to-one support to boost their confidence in a fun and engaging way as they move up to their next year group, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch, as there are a few spaces currently available!

Sessions during the summer holidays are also now available. If you'd like a short booster over the holidays, or something a little more regular, I can tailor to what you and your child need!

Hi, I’m Ellie! 🙂 I am a qualified primary school teacher in St Albans, with many years of experience in and out of the classroom.

Since the pandemic began, I’ve noticed that many children have lost a lot of confidence in their academic ability with gaps appearing in their learning. The need for personalised learning to tackle these gaps has never been stronger. That is why I have started Dream Big Tutoring, to build children’s confidence and help them to believe in themselves and achieve whatever they put their mind to.

If you feel that your child’s confidence in their learning has been affected over the last couple of years and feel that they could do with a boost in a fun and engaging way, then don’t hesitate to get in touch! 🙂 I tailor lessons to each individual child and make them fun around subjects the children themselves love. ⭐️ I can’t wait to hear from you and plan wonderful experiences for your child to help them realise that the sky isn’t even the limit!

Sessions are available in the daytime for home educated children, as well as evenings for those learning in schools. We are currently doing a starting offer, with £10 off each of the first 2 sessions. Book while there is availability!
