β¨ Inspiring the Next Generation of Chefs!
Our Year 10 Food Tech students were treated to an unforgettable experience this week when James Graham, Executive Chef at The Bell at Ramsbury, and Hazel Keen from Ramsbury Estates visited to share their expertise.
With practical exams on the horizon, the students learned professional cooking and plating techniques, and heard about the exciting opportunities available in the food industry. They also broadened their culinary horizons by tasting foods they wouldn't normally eat β including octopus! π
The demonstration was a feast for the senses β the food looked, smelt and tasted amazing!
Massive thanks to James and Hazel for inspiring our students! π

π What a fantastic day at St John's!
Earlier this week, we were delighted to welcome Year 6 pupils from local primary schools to take part in our third Primary Maths Challenge.
A huge thank you to our brilliant Year 10 pupils who supported the event β your enthusiasm and encouragement made such a difference!
It was wonderful to see so many young mathematicians working together, problem-solving, and having fun with numbers. The energy and excitement throughout the day was infectious!
We hope all our visiting pupils enjoyed the experience as much as we enjoyed hosting you. Who knows β we might see some of you joining us at St John's in the future!
