Our tutor Alessandra took time out from teaching this week after being invited to model for Joies Ferrer jewellery!

We have some first pictures from the shoot. Modelling some fabulous pieces, Alessandra was in her element- -la modella indeed!

We love this explanation of the party day 'Ferragosto' all over Italy today.💕 And it was shared by our favourite training organisation Dilit International House Roma ! Buon Ferragosto!

🇮🇹 Oggi in Italia si festeggia Ferragosto!☀️

Il 15 agosto è uno dei giorni simbolo dell’estate italiana: città più tranquille, spiagge affollate, pranzi con amici e famiglia, gite fuori porta e feste che durano fino a sera.

Ma sapete da dove nasce questa tradizione?

🏛️ Le origini risalgono all’antica Roma, quando l’imperatore Augusto istituì le Feriae Augusti, un periodo di riposo e celebrazioni dopo le fatiche dei lavori nei campi. Con il passare dei secoli, questa ricorrenza si è trasformata nel Ferragosto che conosciamo oggi.

🌊 Mare, montagna, barbecue, picnic o pranzo in famiglia: non importa dove. A Ferragosto la parola d’ordine è una sola: godersi l’estate!
