It’s today!!!! We’re so excited for the Markyate School Summer Fete. Looking forward to seeing you all there 🤩

Hi Markyate and surrounding villages, a 5 day countdown reminder about our exciting Fete on Saturday. At Markyate school 1-4pm.

We’ve worked really hard to hopefully make this an affordable and exciting afternoon for everyone, whether you attend the school or not or even if school years are long behind you. Please join us.

With a 70ft inflatable course, silent disco, nerf gun tin can alley, coconut shy, crockery smash, hook a duck, sweet pong, teddy tombola and your teddies chance to ride the teddy express 🚂 and we all love a bottle tombola 🥂

Homemade cake and iced coffee or teas and ice creams and a BBQ. 🌭

Spiderman and Elsa welcoming you in. The Fire engine and police van to explore. 🚒

Books, plants and toys very cheap.

Lots of local sellers which great produce or items.

And finally an amazing raffle with a £200 cash top prize and a phantom go kart worth £180. 🏆

☀️ HOT WEATHER REMINDER ☀️

🌞 As the weather gets warmer, please can all children bring:

💧 A named water bottle
🧢 A sun hat/cap
🧴 Sun cream already applied before arrival
👕 Suitable cool clothing
😎 Spare clothes if needed for water play

Please ensure all belongings are clearly named.

We have unlimited drinks, shaded play, air conditioning, ice lollies and plenty of rest throughout the day to keep everyone safe and comfortable in the sunshine! ☀️
