Lincolnshire Lindy Hop Clubs Learn to Lindy Hop with Steve Mason He runs fun, friendly classes in Alford and Market Rasen where you can learn Lindy Hop and strolls. No partner is needed.

This is where you can find details about learning how to dance Lindy Hop (the original Jive dance) in Lincolnshire with Steve Mason. You can also enjoy freestyle dancing to music from the 30's, 40's and 50's played by DJ Dr Swing.

Market Rasen classes are held on Tuesdays and Alford classes on Fridays. Classes are suitable for all ages and abilities. New starters are welcome any week and no re

gistration is necessary. Both venues have a car park, and you just need to bring a drink.

We had a wonderful time today at Woodhall Country Park. It's well worth a visit.The displays and vehicles were very impressive, and there's a dance floor for us to dance. If you fancy it, we'll be there again tomorrow.

We have a lovely community of dancers here in Lincolnshire, and I'm sure we all know how much we enjoy dancing and attending vintage events. I've been wondering how we can get the word out to the wider Lincolnshire community. I hate to think of all those people who haven't come to class for one of these reasons:

a. They think - I'd never be able to do that as I'm too unfit/old/unco-ordinated etc.
b. They don't even know that this wonderful joyful dance or community even exists.

This is my challenge! I'm determined to grow our wonderful community.

So...

What can I do differently? You can be honest, but not mean (unless I deserve it...).
What ideas could we try?
Is there anything that we can all do as part of the community?
