One of our lovely residents is hoping to adopt a budgie or canary to keep them company and bring a little extra joy into their day. 🥰

If anyone knows of a budgie or canary looking for a loving new home, we would love to hear from you!

Ideally, the bird would need to come with its cage and all necessary accessories.

Today Waterloo House was feeling crafty! ✂️✨ So, what better way to spend a lovely afternoon than getting creative and making our very own handmade cards? 💕

Maureen and I had a lovely time making some delicious homemade bread this morning using our bread-making machine! 🥖❤️

We added all the ingredients, got the machine going and waited patiently for the lovely smell of freshly baked bread to fill the room. 😋

A lovely activity, and we can’t wait to enjoy the finished loaf! 🍞💕

What a fantastic day we had at our Summer Fete filled with sunshine, laughter, and community spirit! ❤️

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of stalls, games, treats, and entertainment, bringing together residents, families, friends, and our amazing local supporters. 🌼🍰🎯

Today we celebrated a very special resident’s birthday with a cake decorated with something very close to their heart — boats, ships and the sea! 🚢🌊

Having spent many years working on ships and travelling all over the world, there were plenty of wonderful memories to inspire this special birthday cake. 🌍⚓️

We hope you had a fantastic birthday filled with smiles, happy memories and, of course, plenty of cake! 🎉🎂❤️
