We're hiring! Nursery Cook 👨🏻‍🍳

Are you passionate about creating healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals for young children? Do you love cooking from scratch and enjoy being part of a warm, caring team? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
Mon-Friday 8.30am-1.30 or 9am- 2pm.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Cook to join our friendly early years setting. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting children’s wellbeing by preparing balanced menus that inspire good eating habits from an early age.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare fresh, wholesome, and tasty meals and snacks daily, catering to a range of dietary needs.

Plan menus that prioritise nutrition, flavour, and variety.

Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.

Work collaboratively with the nursery team to support mealtime routines.

Manage stock levels, shopping and ordering, and kitchen organisation efficiently.

About You

A genuine passion for providing healthy, nutritious, and enjoyable meals to children.

Experience working in a similar role, ideally within an early years or educational setting, this is not essential. Training will be given.

Knowledge of food safety regulations (Food Hygiene Level 2 or above desirable).

Creativity and a positive, can-do attitude.

Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
