Some lovely news from the parent of one of my GCSE students this month 🥰🎉

“I can’t thank you enough for how much you helped my daughter, [name]. When we received her GCSE results, [name] looked straight at her maths result and said, ‘Mum, I passed my maths!’ I just cried because I was so happy for her.

One year of The Ed Shed! 🎂🎈

Here is a little word cloud made up of words and phrases written by my students over the last couple of weeks, capturing The Ed Shed. From weekly challenges and stickers to Rafa, the yellow board, cups of tea, algebra, and plenty of fun too!

It’s taken a real leap of faith, and lots of hard work and late nights to build something on my own, so I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve all achieved and learnt together over the last year. 🧠 🏆

It’s such a privilege to spend time with brilliant young people every week, and a joy to help build confidence and skills that I hope will stay with them for life. 🌱💛

I’m thrilled to share something I’ve been quietly working on…
From today, THE BREAD SHED is officially open🍞✨
Alongside serving my usual English and Maths support, I’ll also be plating up delicious baked goods for students to enjoy.
We’ll be going bap to basics, helping you baguette better at tricky topics, while building all the confidence you knead. No pain; LOTS of pi 🥧
