✈️🇫🇷 Bonjour, France! 🇫🇷✈️

Yesterday our little travellers from our Pioneers room went on a very special pretend trip to France! 🌍✨

Our children had so much fun making their very own passports, checking in for their flight and even weighing their suitcases! 🧳⚖️ and checking they had no prohibited items!! They then climbed aboard our imaginary aeroplane and set off on their French adventure. ✈️

A huge well done to our amazing staff, who really got into character and did a fantastic job as the pilot, airport check-in staff and air hostesses - even ensuring the preflight checks were completed and our passengers knew where the emergency exits were 👩‍✈️👨‍✈️🛫 They brought the whole experience to life and made our pretend airport extra special.

The children absolutely loved every minute of their adventure, and one little boy even said it was “better than a real airport!” 🥰✈️ What a wonderful compliment!

After “landing” in France, our little travellers enjoyed a delicious French treat — brioche! 🥐😋 before flying home!

What a fantastic way to encourage imaginative play while learning about different countries, cultures and the world around us. 🌎❤️

✨ Celebrating Loyalty, Dedication and Friendship ✨

Last week we were delighted to treat our amazing 10 Year Club members to our annual special staff meal as a small thank you for their incredible dedication and commitment to our nursery.

Reaching 10 years of service is a fantastic achievement, and we are incredibly proud to have so many members of our team who have achieved this milestone. Even more remarkably, some of our wonderful staff have now been with the nursery for over 20 years and some at 25 years! Having been open for nearly 26 years we think this is a fantastic achievement. Their loyalty, passion and commitment are truly exceptional.

Over the years, they have cared for and inspired generations of children, built lasting relationships with families, and helped shape our nursery into the caring and nurturing environment it is today. Their experience, knowledge and unwavering dedication are invaluable, and we simply couldn't do what we do without them.

It was lovely to spend time together celebrating these incredible milestones, sharing memories and recognising the people who make our nursery such a special place.

A heartfelt thank you to EVERY member of our team for your loyalty, hard work and commitment. We are so grateful for everything you do, and we look forward to creating many more happy memories together. 💙🥂

What a fantastic few weeks our Pioneers children have had as we celebrate the end of some of their nursery journey! 🌟

They've been making wonderful memories through our Leavers' Party, Sports Day, and some exciting Forest School sessions at St Joseph’s school.

🏅 Sports Day gave the children the opportunity to develop their confidence, resilience and teamwork, while learning that taking part, trying their best and cheering on their friends are just as important as winning.

🌿 Forest School encouraged the children to explore, investigate and take safe risks in the natural environment. They developed problem-solving skills, independence, creativity and a deeper appreciation for the world around them, all whilst having lots of fun outdoors.

🎉 Our Leavers' Party was a chance to celebrate the incredible progress each child has made during their time with us. It was wonderful to reflect on the friendships they have built, the confidence they have gained and the happy memories they will take with them as they begin their next exciting adventure at school.

We are so proud of every one of our Pioneers children. For those going to school - watching them grow into kind, confident and capable young learners has been a privilege.

We wish them every success and happiness as they take their next big step. Good luck, Class of 2026 – we'll miss you all! ❤️🎓

Our Pioneers children had our first visit to Rosewood Manor Care Home this morning. We had such a wonderful time playing games, chatting and doing activities with the residents. We all had a lovely time. Watching the older and younger generations interact together and the smiles on their faces was totally heart warming.

Many thanks Mark and Steph for our visit and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Little Angels Day Nursery Installs Defibrillator Following 25th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign

Little Angels Day Nursery is proud to announce the installation of a new defibrillator at its setting at Angel Row, made possible through successful fundraising efforts held to celebrate the nursery’s 25th anniversary.

The nursery, which has been serving local families for a quarter of a century, marked this special milestone by hosting a celebratory open day, inviting past and present children along with their families to join in the occasion. The event was a wonderful success and featured a raffle, tombola, games, and a barbecue, bringing together the local community to celebrate 25 years of Little Angels Day Nursery.

With the support of staff, children, parents, former families, and the wider community, enough funds were raised to purchase this vital life-saving equipment.

The new defibrillator has been installed on-site, helping to enhance the safety of everyone at the nursery and providing reassurance to families, staff, and visitors.

Importantly the defibrillator is also available to the local community of Market Harborough. Due to its position on the Angel Street Car Park and proximity to the town centre we hope that if needed it may prove invaluable in helping to save lives.

Little Angels Day Nursery would also like to extend sincere thanks Ethan Godefroy of Alpha Electrical, a trusted electrical installation company regularly used by the nursery, who generously donated their time and resources free of charge to install the defibrillator.
The nursery would also like to recognise Alpha Electrical’s sister business, Volt Renewables, which specialises in the installation of solar panels and renewable energy solutions.
