🐻✈️ It’s nearly Teddy Zip Line and Teddington is beary excited!

As well as all the flying bears, we’ll be collecting donations throughout the day at St Dionysius, Market Harborough to support some amazing local causes. ❤️

Simply bring your donations along to Teddy Zip Line from 7am to 4pm* and pop them into the collection boxes.

🛒 Jubilee Foodbank: Non-perishable food items
🎽Against Breast Cancer: Clean, unwanted or unloved bras
🐾 Dogz Dinner MH C.I.C: Food and treats for cats and dogs
🧴 The Hygiene Bank Market Harborough: Shampoo, shower gel and toiletries**
🧸 Childrens Hospital Pyjamas: New pyjamas for children in hospital
🐻Hab-Antibullying & mental health: Donations of pre loved gifts and teddies

We’re proud to be one of their local drop-off points, so if you have any new and unopened hygiene products to donate, you can bring them into school reception at any time.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who gave up their Saturday. ❤️

Sophie was a warrior sorting the Pre-Loved Cabin, Simon repaired the chair stacker, Lauren, George & Poppy powered through the sheds and gardening, and Helen was an absolute powerhouse!

A special thank you to Steve for getting us this far, and to Mr Wallis for all his support and the brilliant projects happening around school. 💚

Final call for next Saturday from 9am

🙏 We still need volunteers for this one!

We're excited to get started on transforming our Year 1 playground on Saturday 8th August (9am to 12) after successfully receiving an additional grant from J G Pears to help bring our plans to life.

This is just the beginning, and the more helping hands we have, the more we can achieve together. Whether you can spare an hour or the half day, we'd love to have you there. In addition our pre-loved uniform volunteers welcome any uniform sorters to refresh our cabin for the new term.

Together, we can create a fun, safe and welcoming outdoor space where our Year 1 children can learn, play and thrive and a refreshed uniform cabin. 💙

No special skills are needed—just a willingness to muck in!

Do you know a young photographer with a good eye for nature?

The Natural Harborough Photography Competition is open to children and young people aged under 18 across Harborough District.

Whether they're photographing wildlife in the garden, flowers in the park, landscapes, insects or trees, we'd love to see what they discover.

🏆 Two age categories
📷 Phone photos are very welcome
🖼️ Winning and shortlisted photographs will be exhibited during Creative Harborough's September Celebration, with prizes for the winners.

The competition is free to enter.
