Just one week left of school holidays. Bookings for October half term and focussed mock revision sessions are now available. All my sessions are focussed on the individual, not a prepared package so I’ll support your child with any topic they need. PM me to reserve your place now.

✅ Requesting For Transcripts and Remarks ✅
GCSE Results Day Special

Schools will have key representatives present from their community on GCSE Results Day.

These persons will typically include:
⭐️ The school’s Senior Leadership Team.
⭐️ Teachers from Core Subjects.
⭐️ Head of 6th Form (should there be one).
⭐️ Pastoral Team representatives.
⭐️ Careers Lead (should there be one).

Schools will spend today analysing the data.

This means they will be aware which students may need support and guidance on Thursday.

✅ Remarks ✅

Heads of Subjects will also be encouraged to look at students who were close to grade boundaries in the weeks ahead too.

However, should you wish to do so before this point, exam board grade boundaries will be available as of tomorrow.

As a rule of thumb:
👍 Students within 3-4 marks of a grade boundary are worth a remark.

Considerations:
⭐️ There is a cost associated to this per paper.
⭐️ The school may/may not pay for this.
⭐️ Would a remark benefit your child in terms of next steps?

✅ Requesting Transcripts ✅

This could be highly beneficial should your child miss a pass (grade 4) in English or Maths.

Your child’s school will have a well advertised procedure in place to request remarks.
