ACHIEVEMENT THROUGH CARING

~ Our School ~
At Longlands Primary School we are proud of our pupils and staff, and the positive atmosphere they create. It is important to us that we provide academic vigour within a supportive and inviting environment where pupils enjoy learning, feel safe and make a positive contribution. Success is celebrated in the knowledge that this will encourage greater achiev

ement in the future. Ours is a caring school where the children are warmly received and encouraged throughout their time with us to aim high, fulfil their potential and engage with all the opportunities the school has to offer. We firmly believe that for this to be best achieved we must establish a genuine partnership between home and school. We want pupils to look back on their time at Longlands Community Primary School with pride and passion and know that they have been part of an excellent school | >> longlandsprimaryschool.co.uk

~ Together We Grow ~
Our school is proud to be part of The Marches Academy Trust family of schools and has the shared belief that: Successful creative lifelong learners participate in a journey of self-discovery. They know how to learn, acquire skills and feel safe to take risks with confidence and courage. As part of the Trust we believe in ‘achievement through caring’ and by providing the pupils with a nurturing and vibrant learning environment the children will achieve their potential | >> marchesacademytrust.co.uk

🌟 Longlands Out and About in Our Community! 🌟

It was great to see Mr Cross and Mrs Mazan in Market Drayton today, lending a helping hand at the Community Day alongside the Town Council and Helen from Make It Market Drayton.

We were delighted to see some of our Longlands pupils and families pop by to say hello throughout the day. 👋😊

At Longlands, we are proud to be part of our local community and value opportunities to work together to make a positive difference. Thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat and helped make the day such a success!

As we reshare our Learning for Life Framework animation, we're proud to highlight how our schools work together to ensure every child receives the right support, at the right time, in the right setting.

At The Marches Academy Trust, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our Learning for Life Framework helps us create inclusive, nurturing environments where children and young people can succeed academically, socially and emotionally, regardless of their starting point.

Take a few moments to watch the animation and discover how we're removing barriers, building belonging and creating opportunities for every child to achieve their full potential. 🎥✨

🥐👩‍🍳 Year 3 have been putting their Design and Technology skills to the test in their final cooking lesson!

Using everything they have learned throughout the topic, the children carefully and safely chopped their ingredients before creating their very own delicious pastries. They showed fantastic teamwork, confidence and independence as they worked through each stage of the process.

Most importantly, they had lots of fun making their tasty treats... and even more fun eating them! 😋

🐝💛 Wow... thank you! 💛🐝

A huge thank you to our amazing parents and carers, teaching staff, children, PTA and supporters for making our Summer Fair such a fantastic success.

Thanks to your generosity, hard work and support, we raised an incredible £2,000+! Every penny will go straight back into enriching opportunities and experiences for our children.

Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without our wonderful school community. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, attended and helped make the day so special.

Together, we really do make a difference! 🌟

🦈🔭 There's a shark in the park! 🔭🦈

Our children had a fantastic time enjoying the story Shark in the Park! They enthusiastically joined in with the repeated refrain, "There's a shark in the park!", and loved bringing the story to life.

After listening to the story, the children made their own telescopes before heading outside to the obstacle course, where they acted out the story and helped retell the adventure. Their imagination, enthusiasm and storytelling skills were wonderful to see, and they all did brilliantly!

🥐👩‍🍳 Year 3 have been busy tasting a variety of foods and exploring different flavour combinations.

The children had lots of fun trying new ingredients and deciding which flavours work best as they begin planning their own delicious pastries. Activities like this help develop confidence, creativity and important life skills while encouraging children to try new things.
