They may be home now, but the Year 6 team finished their residential by taking on both the Gladiator and Power Fan Challenge. As with everything they’ve done this week, the children threw themselves into both activities with enthusiasm and determination.

Well done, Year 6. You’ve been amazing from start to finish and have done both us and yourselves proud 💙

🔥 Day 2 – Campfire Finale 🔥

The day ended in the best possible way — gathered around the campfire with songs, jokes and riddles keeping everyone entertained. Spirits were high and their laughter was loud 😁

Hot chocolate and biscuit treats rounded off a great day, and they’re heading to bed tired, happy and full of stories to tell tomorrow 💙⛺️🔥

Year 6s afternoon saw teamwork in full flow as the children took on bridge building before tackling the low ropes course. Plenty of problem‑solving, steady nerves and brilliant encouragement of one another 💙

Day 2 - Year 6 Residential

The children hit the ground running this morning. Their adventures began with Viking Games, where teamwork and competitive spirit were out in full force, followed by some impressive focus and determination during Air Rifle Shooting. A brilliant start to the day 💙

🌧️ Year 6 Residential – Day 1 Update 🌧️

The children have settled in brilliantly. Beds were made with varying degrees of success — but all with plenty of enthusiasm — before they familiarised themselves with their new surroundings.

After a spot of lunch, they headed straight into an action‑packed afternoon of axe throwing and the blindfold trail, managing to dodge the worst of the torrential downpours.

They enjoyed their evening meal and completed their chores to a very high standard (you’d be proud). A bit of free time followed before the rain finally stopped play.

They’re already looking forward to tomorrow — especially choosing souvenirs before winding down with hot chocolate and a sweet treat😀💙🛍️🪓

Happy Half Term!

We hope you all have a lovely week filled with fun, rest and plenty of sunshine ☀️
