All the children have been enjoying being outside and different activities in the garden. Pre School have enjoyed writing their names and doing tree rubbings. Toddlers & Babies have enjoyed looking at books and exploring the outside environment. Using the easels and painting objects they see outside.
Literacy - Providing enticing areas for sharing books matching interests of the children. Enriching and widening children's vocabulary will support later reading comprehension.

Understanding the world - Encouraging young children and Toddlers to explore their natural world. Looking at the spring daffodils and other plants in the garden. Encourage children's exploration, curiosity, appreciation and respect for living things.

Baby room enjoyed lots of story books and activities for World Book Day. Lots of book sharing and dressing up went on through the nursery with children excited to share their favourite stories with their friends. 📚📖

Preschool have enjoyed exploring in the garden this morning. Bug hunting 🕷️🪳
🐞 we love spending time in the outdoors and our mud kitchen has lots of learning opportunities for the children.

Preschool children have been practicing hard to form the letters in their name. They are all getting very good.
We motivate children by providing opportunities in a wide range of ways. Helping children to form letters accurately.

Today we celebrated Chinese New Year. Year of the Horse. Children have enjoyed lots of different activities and had a Chinese themed lunch with fortune cookies for after. The older children have been learning how to use chop sticks. 🐴🧧

We celebrated Valentines with lots of pink hearts & potions. We talked about people we love in our families and special people to us. The children loved all the activities using new vocabulary as they played such as swishy and squishy. ❤️❤️❤️

All the children have enjoyed Pancake Day today. We had activities for them to make and toss their own pancakes using play dough and different utensils. Then at snack time Sarah our cook made yummy pancakes and fruit for the children to eat. 🥞🍓🍊🍋
