Looking for a career change or a new challenge, Bright Start Nursery are looking for a Nursery Nurse Apprentice, the successful applicant will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with the ability to use their own initiative. You will receive full wages whilst you train for your qualification.


The main duties of the role include:
• Ensuring the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
• Working in partnership with parents and also fellow colleagues.
• Maintaining child development and observation records.
• Following and implementing all policies and procedures set out by the nursery.
• Ensuring the key person approach is fully instilled in every day practice.

Applicants will need to demonstrate some recent experience in a childcare setting which can be referenced and able to demonstrate their knowledge of the developmental and learning needs of young children. You will also need to be a positive role-model to colleagues, students and visitors to the nursery.

Dear Parents,
I hope you have had as best Christmas as you can in the current times.
I just wanted to keep you updated with a quick message to let you know that the nurseries will be reopening as normal on the 4th of January to all parents (Thanet is not on the excluded primary school list).
No fees will be made to parents who do not wish to return in January, as its when you feel it’s right as a parent when your child returns to nursery as everyone has different circumstances.
Please be reassured we will keep reviewing all the current stringent measures in place to try and keep this horrible infection out of the Nursery.
