🍂 It slows down the production of chlorophyll, allowing the less dominant, but fiery, colours in the leaves shine through.

Such a busy week so far, looking forward to more students at the sewing school, and Sewing Saturday's Fix it session at Garlinge Methodist church hall, come and use our machines to get that repair or alteration fixed

So Autumn is here, kids back at school and a chance to catch up on learning to sew. Alter or mend is NOW!!! Lessons 1 to 1 from the Make Lounge Sewing School are getting booked. Come and update your skills learn a new skill you wish you could do ( posh finishes for seams, zips and buttonholes among others). You can bring your machine if you have one,I can check it over for you if its been playing up or just been sitting there. Or come and try out a range of machines to decide what you need rather than spend your hard earned cash on something that will let you down. I'm just putting this out there: I am considering offering up a studio share at my Sewing School. I am not there every day and often when I am its a half day. It would have to be someone who needs a 'clean' space as such, so no paint etc, preferably someone who sews or makes. The studio is big enough to share and I could have a move around to make a seperate area should you want. As a bonus, you could have access to my machines, Overlocker, coverstitch and so much threads fabric and haberdashery. If you are interested please DM me. Thanks Lynn.

Share with your friends, the first of sewing Saturday's in Garlinge Methodist Community Hall, tea and coffee available, come and use one of the machines, get help in a sewing job or alteration or fix needing to be done.
