We have set up this CIC to try and grow a creative community.

One of the main goals is to offer classes and support groups and support those who are looking to start their own small business.

Apologies if I've been quiet the last few days. I'm in full on prep mood for Folk week, as in standard Amy fashion I've left it to the last minute.

I thought I'd pop a reminder up of what we have got on at the studio for the rest of August. This is quieter than normal with some of our regular groups not running In August. I try to have some time off at the end of August before the end of year madness.

Monday 10th - Make and Meet at 7pm
Sunday 16th - Sunday Book club at 1pm
Wednesday 19th August - Kids class Collage cats 9am
Saturday 22nd August - Glass Styles Beach huts at 10am
Wednesday 26th August - Kids Class Coral Reef at 9am
Thursday 27th August - Saucey Society Book Club at 7pm
Saturday 29th August - Make and Meet at 10am
Saturday 29th August - Botanical Casting at 2pm.
Sunday 30th August - Lost Boys Breakfast Club at 9am

All can be found and booked via our website as standard.

Marion is back 🌞

For everyone who keeps asking when the next glass class is on, the wait is over.

marion Styles is back on Saturday 22nd August at 10am.

This time it will be a beach hut theme piece.

Bookings are open now via the website with 10 spaces available.

£5 kids creative clubs this summer.

We are away at folk week in August and then have got a few days off so only have 3 kids clubs left for the summer.

Weds 29th July - Mini Pop art animals
Weds 19th August - Collage cats
Weds 26th August - Buid a coral reef

These are available to book via the website, with 2 sessions for each, 9am and 10am.

We made some mini journals out of decks of cards in tonight's group.

The aim is to decorate a 2 page spread every week.

We are taking a break for August so the next journaling group is September, so I'll look forward to seeing what we have all done then.

🍂 Autumnal rag wreath class 🍂

I popped into home bargains this morning and they had put out lots of autumn decor, one of my favourite seasons and a great season for crafts.

We have a autumnal rag wreath class on Saturday 5th September at 1pm.

These are great to make, a class suitable for beginners and you can make something to use year after year.

Refreshments provided and free parking directly outside the studio.

💙 **We're Looking for Community Sponsors** 💙

The need for community support is growing, but funding is becoming increasingly difficult to secure. With more organisations applying for the same grants and funding opportunities, we are having to look at new ways to ensure we can continue providing support where it's needed most.

We have two groups that our community has told us they want and need, and we're looking for businesses willing to help make them accessible to everyone by sponsoring them.

🧩 **Puzzle Club – Starting September**

Following feedback from local residents, particularly older people, we're launching a monthly Puzzle Club. Many told us they would love somewhere to go during the day to meet others, but that arts and crafts groups weren't for them.

Puzzle Club will offer a warm, welcoming space where people can enjoy refreshments, socialise, work on puzzles, and benefit from an activity that supports cognitive wellbeing. Most importantly, it will provide a safe place to spend a couple of hours, make connections, and reduce isolation.

To offer this group **free of charge** for 12 months, we need sponsorship of:

• £864 for a monthly group
• £1,728 for a fortnightly group

🚗 **Lost Boys Club – Returning in August**

After a short break, Lost Boys Club is back.

This wellbeing group is designed for men with a shared interest in cars, motorsport, bikes and engineering. It's a chance to step away from the pressures of everyday life, enjoy breakfast, talk with like-minded people, and simply have some downtime.

To keep this monthly group free for attendees, we are seeking sponsorship of **£864 for 12 months**.

As a sponsor, your business will receive recognition and promotion for 12 months through:

✔ Flyers and promotional materials

As sponsorship is a form of advertising and promotion, it may also be tax deductible (please seek advice from your accountant).
