This week our Pre-schoolers have been Learning through practical life experiences! The children loved hanging items on the washing line, carefully using pegs and working independently. This simple Montessori activity supports fine motor development, focus, and self-help skills. 👕🧺

There's a rumble in the jungle! The children in the toddler room have enjoyed exploring our small world jungle, searching through the leafy environment to discover the animals hiding. The children showed their gentleness as they manovered the animals around, prepared them meals and narrated through the puppets. The children shared experiences where they had seen these animals out and about, like at the zoo.

Road Safety! The toddlers this week have been very interested to learn all about road safety with our mascot 'PC Jack daws' who is our health and safety Friend who has been there to help us learn about recognising and assessing risks safely. The children discovered a variety of crossings to help the small world people cross the road safely, understanding the importance of staying close to an adult. The children took their knowledge into the garden as they rode the bikes, practicing "red means stop" and "green means go".

🦕🌋 Dinosaur World Adventure! 🌋🦕

This week our babies had a ROAR-some time exploring their very own Dinosaur World using obelic! ✨

Through sensory play, they enjoyed splashing, exploring textures, and developing their curiosity while learning about different dinosaurs. 🦖💚

This exciting activity encouraged hand-eye coordination, cause-and-effect learning, and lots of imaginative play as our little explorers searched for dinosaurs in their sensory tray. 🌈✨

What a fantastic way to learn through play and spark our babies' natural curiosity! 🦕🌟
