Dandelion Daycare Childminding service Welcome, I am Katie Smith, I'm Ofsted registered childminder based in Margate, CT9. Here is an insight into my Childminding Service.

I have a lot of experience in caring for children with SEN and challenging behaviour. I am very caring, patient and respectful. It is important to me that every child in my care is treated as an individual and feels safe and loved wi

thin my provision. All members of the household over 18 hold a Full DBS check. I hold a full UK driving licence and business insurance to allow me to travel with children. Dandelion Daycare is a childminding service aimed at all children under the age if 8 years old. Children will have a wide access to resources to encourage them to explore the world through play and creative arts and crafts. It is important to me to find the interests of every individual child and plan my activities to suit all ages. Children will be able to socialise and play with other children at local playgrounds, singing and signing and sensory sessions. Children will access to my garden which is full of lots of outdoor toys, swing set and trampoline. Below are the qualifications I have in childcare-
NCFE CACHE LEVEL 3 Award in preparing to work in Homebased childcare. BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care level 3

Today our children visited Wingham Wildlife Park, where they explored a variety of animals and learned about their habitats through first-hand experiences. The trip supported their communication and language skills, early maths development through counting and comparing, physical development through active exploration, and encouraged respect and care for living things.

It was a fantastic day full of curiosity, learning and memorable experiences! 🐾🌿

This week, we explored colours through a range of hands-on activities. The children experimented with colour mixing and used descriptive language to talk about what they observed. We also shared our favourite colours, enjoyed stories related to colours, and explored colours through books and discussions.

Today was E last day at Dandelion Daycare. It was a pleasure to spend the last 2 years with you, helping you learn and watching you grow. You started as a shy sensitive little girl, your confidence has grown dramatically and definitely know what you do and don't like. Your manners are incredible and you are always the kindest to your friends. You have built the most fabulous friendships with the children here at Dandelion Daycare and we will miss you alot. You alway make me smile and laugh. Continue to be yourself and most importantly enjoy your new adventure at preschool.
