Today our children have been super busy in the allotment! 🌱🍃🪴

The weather has been kind enough to water the plants for us so the children checked on the growth of our plants and flowers ☺️ They found out that the lettuces 🥬 will be ready to be picked next week and the lavender has grown and smells amazing! The poppy plants are so tall! 🌺

Sunflowers 🌻 and tomatoes 🍅 were planted in grow your own pots which showed the children a different way of gardening.

A little frog was spotted enjoying our new little water area 🐸 which was super exciting to see!

Well done everyone our allotment looks amazing and we look forward to using the produce next week and beyond! 🥰

Today we have welcomed back some of our children and their families after the half term holidays! We have enjoyed hearing about what the children have been up to! 😎☀️

We look forward to welcoming back everyone else throughout this week ☺️

We look forward to welcoming all our children and families back to Preschool from Monday 1st June 2026.

Yesterday we had not one but two visitors to preschool! 🩰🚸

Our first visitor was from our lovely village lollipop lady who came to talk to our children about her job and road safety. She even gave us a bit of practice! ☺️

Our second visitor was Miss Emily from Shine Studios! We had a morning of music, dancing and fun! Our children showed good balancing skills, good ballet toes and really enjoyed the drumsticks and popping bubbles. We can’t wait for next time ☺️

A big thank you to both our visitors for providing such valuable experiences for our children 🥰

This week is Walk to School Week! 🚶‍♀️🚶

Today our children have been taking part in activities promoting the health benefits of being active, road safety and its importance 🚦⛔️🚸

In circle time the children told us how they got to school and stuck stickers on our map for their journeys 👣👣

High vis vests, roads, an obstacle course and even a walk on Marchwood Infant Schools new track were enjoyed today and provided valuable learning experiences ☺️👏

This morning there was a lot of amazing activity at snack time in the preschool room! The children washed, chopped and tidied away their fruit snack after enjoying it 😋

The children showed good cutting skills, awareness of safety and the importance of hygiene when dealing with food.

They worked well as a team to complete all the jobs needed to feed themselves and their friends. Well done everyone 🥰
