This summer holidays we have decided to make a little craft shop to earn some spending money,
selling

- keychains
- bookmarks
- necklaces
- activity packs
- fidget caterpillars

And much more.

All are homemade and custom orders are welcome.

Usually at this time of year we would do a collection for a charity or organisation to teach the children about giving not just receiving, especially at Christmas. This year has got away from me and I’ve not been as organised as I’d like to be (sorry), so I don’t have time to organise the usual donation.

Those who know me know that I do love to shop and can’t resist a bargain. I buy all year round for the just incase moments at this time of year. So this year I would like to help a couple of people who are a little worried that it may be slightly empty under the tree Christmas morning.

I am not really sure how to work it, other than asking that if you would like or would like to nominate someone who is GENUINELY in need of some extra help please message me by Sunday 7th December. You must be able to collect from me.

Child’s age
What they like/ interests

I will then have a look through what I have and who the items would match to, then contact those people to see if they would like them. If you do want to get involved and have a spare gift that you would like to give, please let me know.

I will reply to everyone who messages as soon as I can , but I unfortunately won’t be able to gift to everyone. Who I do gift to is at my discretion. I will not be posting what is given, or anything about those receiving them. We are just continuing our tradition of giving at Christmas.

Not updated for a while but here’s a snippet of October through to now.

Spooky kitchen made a return, lots of pumpkin activities and fine motor skills used.

Christmas kitchen is out and being enjoyed by all, the childrens tree is out and a few new toys to explore.

Children who will be 4 by the 31st august 2026 can now apply for a school space.

Deadline to do so is the 15th January 2026.

Would definitely recommend a look around Burrowmoor and see the positive things they are doing with/ for the children and how they help the children achieve the very best they can. Open day details attached or call them to arrange a convenient time.

I have only 2 places left for some new little ones to come and join us in September and they are -

💜 Monday - (temporary space Sept 25 - March 26) term time only or including holidays

And

💜 Thursday - permanent space - term time only.

All funding accepted, tax free childcare and workplace voucher schemes.

Opening hours 7/7.30am - 4.30pm.

Thursday TERM TIME ONLY (permenant)

Mon, Tues, thurs ALL YEAR round on a temporary contract (Sept - end of March). This placement is ideal for a little one who needs to build on their confidence and independence in a smaller setting, before taking the next step up to preschool/ nursery.

We used to care for Penelope and she remains part of our extended childminding family. She has always been such a loving and thoughtful little girl. So it is no surprise that she has just had her hair cut to donate to the little princess trust, so that a wig can be made for a child that has lost their hair through an illness.

It cost £700 to turn the donated hair into a wig that can be gifted. So that is her target. If you can spare anything to help her achieve it then I know she would be grateful. Thankyou x
