A huge thank you to all of our amazing children, parents, carers and staff who made this year's Mazey Day Parade such a fantastic celebration!

From the energetic samba drumming and joyful singing to the incredible costumes, every child helped make the parade truly unforgettable. A special thank you to all the parents and carers who gave their time and creativity to help make the costumes—your support made all the difference.

And of course, our magnificent seagull was a real star of the show!

Sports Day Cancelled!

Unfortunately due to the wet condition we have made the decision to cancel Sports Day today. Even if the rain stops, we cannot predict that the grass and field areas will be dry or safe enough for the children to take part.

We are just as disappointed as you and the children will be 😞 We will let you know a new date as soon as possible.

A huge well done to our amazing Year 6 children for completing their SATs this week! We are so proud of your hard work, resilience, and positive attitudes throughout ❤️

A special thank you as well to our wonderful Year 5 supporters who helped cheer them on along the way!

To celebrate, we enjoyed a fantastic trip to the beach - rock pooling, digging giant holes inspired by the book ‘Holes’ and finishing off by creating a fire pit and toasting marshmallows together 🔥🌊

Lots of laughter, teamwork, and memories made, a perfect way to celebrate everyone’s efforts!

Last week, Miss Oliver and Mrs Goss had the pleasure of taking our ‘Above and Beyond’ winners to the beach with their packed lunch for a picnic ☀️🏖️

It was such a special experience, and both the children and adults absolutely loved it!

Because it was such a success, we’ve decided not to leave it to chance. Every child who fills their star with 5 ‘Above and Beyond’ nominations will earn a celebratory packed lunch in a different location.

While the lovely weather lasts, our picnics will take place at the beach. How exciting! 🌊

A huge well done to our amazing Year 3 and Year 4 football players who took part in their first 2 matches as part of the Penwith tournament. For some children it was their first time playing in a competitive match and they were all brilliant.

Here's a timely reminder about our Monster Mechanics fundraising raffle!

In addition to the prizes we revealed last week, we now have even more, with well over £200 worth of prizes to we won in total!

Our extra prizes include: an amazing goodie bag of fully sustainable products from SurfSup Perranuthnoe , a lovely hamper of Cornish goods from The Copper Spoon , a rooftop tour for 2 Truro Cathedral, a pair of children's books from Blewetts toy shop and some lovely Cornish honey and beeswax candles from one of our amazing parent's own bees.

Tickets are £2 each and will be available to purchase at 3:15pm on the school playground for parents or at any time during the school day from the office.

Remember, all funds raised go towards the running of our year 6 Monster Mechanics Greenpower race team.

The draw is happening this coming Thursday at 1:30pm so good luck one and al
