🌟 Before & After School Childcare Places Available 🌟

Looking for a friendly, reliable home-from-home setting for your child before or after school?

I currently have limited before and after-school places available, particularly for older primary school children (8+).

🕗 Opening hours: 7:45am – 5:15pm

🌅 Before school: Children can enjoy a choice of cereal or toast for breakfast before being safely walked to school.

🚶 After school: Children are collected from school and enjoy a 10–15 minute walk home, giving them the chance to chat about their day and unwind.

Once home, they can enjoy:
🍎 A substantial, healthy after-school snack
📚 Time to relax, read or complete homework
🤝 A welcoming group where new friendships are made and everyone is encouraged to be kind, respectful and look out for one another
❤️ A safe, caring, home-from-home environment where children feel happy, valued and supported

🌞 School Holiday Childcare Places Available – From 3rd August 🌞

I’m delighted to be offering school holiday childcare on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with limited places available from 3rd August.

Children can enjoy:

🎨 Crafts, games and creative activities
🌳 Outings and adventures weather permitting
🤝 Opportunities to make new friendships in a small, caring group
❤️ A safe, relaxed, home-from-home environment where children can have fun and enjoy their holidays

I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, fully insured, and provide a warm, welcoming home where children are encouraged to build confidence, develop friendships and create happy memories.

HOT WEATHER PROCEDURES FOR PARENTS

As temperatures increase, I will continue to ensure children are cared for safely during school and nursery runs. Please support the following measures:
● Children should arrive wearing light, loose-fitting clothing.
● A named sun hat must be provided every day.
● Please apply sunscreen before arrival. If reapplication is required during the day, written permission will be followed.
● Please ensure your child brings a named water bottle.
● Children will be encouraged to drink regularly throughout the day.
● School and nursery walks will be completed using shaded routes wherever possible and with additional rest stops.
● Outdoor activities may be reduced or altered during periods of extreme heat.
● Children will be monitored closely for signs of overheating or dehydration.
● If a child shows symptoms of heat exhaustion, parents will be contacted and medical advice sought if necessary.
Hot Weather Protocols
Green (up to 25°C)
● Normal routines continue with extra drinks and sun protection.
Amber (25–30°C)
● Slower walking pace.
● Frequent water breaks.
● Use of shaded routes.
● Reduced outdoor play during peak sunshine hours.
Red (30°C and above)
● School and nursery runs only.
● Non-essential outings cancelled.
● Increased rest stops and hydration.
● Close monitoring for signs of heat exhaustion.
● Immediate action taken if any child becomes unwell.
During periods of extreme heat or official heat-health alerts, routines may be adapted to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children.
