Ready, Steady, Listen!!

Hey everyone! Who’s ready for a challenge?

We adore reading and we all know how important books are for your children’s development. They help ignite imagination, expand vocabulary and it helps create a bond between child and adult.

With that being said we have teamed up with Usborne books to take part in a sponsored Ready Steady Listen. What this entails is getting your friends, family, colleagues everyone you know to sponsor your child to listen to or read as many stories, books, comics etc as possible to help raise money to buy as many new amazing books for our setting as possible to help encourage a lifelong love of reading starting at nursery.

The event will run 10th November to 24th November so there is plenty of time to prepare and get as many sponsors as possible.

We have a Go Fund Me page linked here (https://gofund.me/cfc31dc2c) anyone wanting to donate online.

We will hand out a letter with more information and sponsorship forms and reading logs for you to take to your friends and family.

But wait there’s more!!

As an extra challenge the child who gets the most sponsors will be able to choose a book from Usborne to take home for themselves!!

Lets all work together to get some amazing reading resources for our nursery.

Halloween party 🎃

Yesterday we hosted our very first Halloween party as a setting and it was spook-tacular 👻

We had a devilish disco room, a spooky sensory area with lots of terrifyingly fun tuff trays to explore, a food stall full of frightful bites and bakes and finally a lucky prize room 🎉

We want to give a massive thank you to all the parents/carers/family members that attended the party. It was amazing to see you all have so much fun with your little ones and it was great to join in with all the fun 🥰

A huge well done to our amazing team here at Little Toes for working together to pull off this fantastic party 🥳
