🤎🐜🪲 The Den & The Discoverers – Our New Space 🪲🐜🤎

A little look at what we’ve been busy creating this weekend… and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s all come together. 🥹

We wanted to create a beautiful combined space for The Den and The Discoverers somewhere our children can relax, explore, spend time with friends and, most importantly, feel completely at home.

The words “You can count on me” really sum up what Safe Haven is all about. ❤️

As our children grow, change and move onto their next adventures, we want them to always know that we’re here a familiar place, familiar faces and somewhere they know they belong.

We hope our children love their new space as much as we do!

💚 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Incredible Team 💚

As we come to the end of one of the hottest weeks of the year, Michael and I wanted to take a moment to recognise the incredible people who make our nurseries so special.

To our amazing staff across Mansfield Woodhouse, South Normanton, The Discoverers 🪲🐜🤎 and The Den… thank you.

This week has been challenging, but your commitment to the children has never wavered. You’ve adapted routines, moved children into our air-conditioned rooms to keep them comfortable, made sure everyone stayed hydrated, changed activities to suit the weather, worked alongside our cook to adapt menus, and continually checked on one another as well as the children.

Through the heat, you’ve continued to provide smiles, cuddles, reassurance, laughter and endless care. The children have remained happy, safe and loved because of your dedication.

To our wonderful families, we know you entrust us with your most precious people every single day, and we hope you’ll join us in saying a huge thank you to our incredible team. Their passion, kindness and commitment often go unseen, but they truly go above and beyond to ensure every child has the very best day, whatever the circumstances.

To our team… we see every early start, every extra mile, every kind gesture and every act of teamwork. We couldn’t be prouder of you, and we are so grateful to have such an incredible nursery family.

Our Jiggly Jumpers were very lucky to welcome some baby caterpillars into our room this morning. The children enjoyed looking closely at them and observing just how tiny they are.
We are looking forward to watching them grow and change over the coming weeks and learn more about their fascinating life cycle.

✨ A Little Peek Inside Our Little Learners Room ✨

At Safe Haven, we believe that children deserve more than just a nursery room they deserve a space where they feel safe, loved, valued, and truly at home. ❤️

Over the past week, we have poured our hearts into transforming our Little Learners room. Every corner has been carefully thought about, every detail chosen with purpose, and every change made with our children in mind.

You’ll notice calming spaces, soft lighting, authentic resources, cosy areas to snuggle up with a book, invitations to play, explore and wonder, and a peaceful environment where children can simply be children.

This room isn’t about having the newest toys or the brightest colours. It’s about creating a sense of belonging. A place where children feel secure enough to explore, confident enough to learn, and comfortable enough to relax.

We are passionate about continually reinvesting back into our settings because our children deserve the very best environment we can provide. We want every child who walks through our doors to feel the warmth, love and care that has gone into creating these spaces.

We are so proud of what has been achieved and incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring our vision to life. ✨

The Little Learners have had a fantastic experience watching, learning and caring for caterpillars, which turned to cocoons and have now surprised them all, emerging as butterflies.
The children had great fun holding and releasing them. We live in an amazing world, and watching the children in awe of nature is a beautiful thing to be part of.

This morning in our Tiny Tots room, we’ve created a soft, tranquil space ready to welcome our little ones 🤍

The lights are low, the atmosphere is calm, and gentle spa music fills the room… creating a peaceful beginning where children can arrive, settle, and feel safe 💫
