Bright Sparks Nursery

We're on a mission to find some fantastic new EY enthusiasts to join our lovely team. Can our friends and families help with likes and shares to get the word out there? Thank you all :)

We are always so grateful for help in sharing recruitment opportunities at the Nursery. Please like & share widely if you are able to 🙏🏻🐝🌻

Are they having a laugh?

This April, staffing costs increase by 15%, funding by 4%. You do the maths. Growing cohorts of children with additional needs & what happened to the graduate led workforces? Standing firm with the team as International Women’s Day 2025 approaches. My colleagues deserve better, our children deserve better, our parents should be paying less. Share & like if you agree 💚💜🤍

Celebrating 30 years of Bright Sparks Nursery on Saturday with wonderful families, colleagues and dogs 😊🐾
Thanks to everyone who joined us for a stroll, lots of Gruffalo spotting, picnicking and playfulness. Someone special even bought me a balloon 🎈

The weekend comes around quickly after a Bank Holiday so if you are free this Saturday, many of us are meeting up at Sherwood Pines (by the Gruffalo at 10.00am) including colleagues, old and new, former families, my mum and anyone who has been part of the Bright Sparks family. We plan to enjoy a walk around the family friendly route and catch up around the play area after. Sign up in events if you can join us, pack up a picnic brunch and a rug and share, share, share; you are all very welcome!

If anyone is interested in a new or returning runners group, RR have a wonderful Couch to 5km programme starting on 29/7 & you would be very welcome to join.

Financial support for childcare is expanding and we have a vacancy for a qualified Early Years Practitioner. If you like watching caterpillars grow, digging in flower beds, modernising The Wheels on the Bus song, thinking about gender neutral toys and working with seriously amazing women in a rural hub adjacent to woodland then get in touch without delay!
