Church Vale Primary School and Foundation Unit

Parents of Church Vale children:
Family crafts at Church Vale, starting every Friday from 11th September for 5 weeks. You’ll craft something in the first hour then your child will join you in the second hour. In the mobile classroom- just turn up! It’ll be a lovely free activity to do with your children.

Well it’s an end of an era Year 6. Church Vale have been lucky to have you. We wish you the best of luck on your new journey. ❤️ Here are the pictures of your last trip at Church Vale. We will miss you.

Don’t forget that tomorrow we will be selling bacon or sausage cobs, tea, coffee, cold drinks, crisps and sweets. Hope to see you at our sports day.

To support England in the semi finals tomorrow children can come to school in their football kits or wear anything red and white instead of their uniform. This is totally optional.

Raffle tickets on sale each morning and after school. £1 per strip. Raffle drawn on Monday. Roll up, roll up!

You are welcome to come and pick up your children from 1.15 again tomorrow. We are still open. After school care is still on and afternoon nursery is still running. If you are concerned about heat please still bring them and pick them up for the afternoon after they have their mark. Thank you.

Year 5 parents.
Just to reassure you, if your child hasn’t brought their letter home, that we are still going on the year 5 trip tomorrow. We have planned to have a ‘heat friendly’ day and a splash in the splash park. The coach is air conditioned so should be a pleasant journey. Please remember water, hats and suncream. We will let you know if the plans change during the day.

Monday we will close registers at 10.00am so anyone who wanted to watch football will not have their attendance impacted. Parents will need to book any lunches by 9.30 and let us know what their child is doing via the app.

🌳 Our Year 4s 🌳 have been having lots of fun at Forest School so far. Their perseverance, risk taking, communication skills and courage to try new things have been wonderful to watch. Your children are a credit to you.

Y1 and 2 have had a great trip and been fantastic. Pick up from the coach at 2.45. If any child isn’t collected they will just come up to school with us so don’t worry.
