Hi, my name is Theresa and I am an experienced homeschool tutor.

Having began my career successfully supporting learning in the classroom, I knew a career in teaching was for me. I am currently working towards finishing my degree so that I can realise my dream of doing so full time.

I began my homeschool journey with my own son, who I deregistered and have been successfully homeschooling for three years now. Having been commended for our outstanding learning achievements by the LEA. I have been told by them that my son is now working at a year ahead academically, which is not something he was achieving in the school environment.

I am now offering my services to other children of all ages having been approached by other parents and the authorities to do so.

Having a full understanding of the curriculum, I am able to create learning plans suited to individual children's learning needs and interests. I believe that not all children fit into 'the box', timelines and methods set by the government. Each child has their own individual learning styles and needs and should be taught in a way that suits these. This is a skill I pride myself upon and have the ability to create these individualised learning opportunities.
