The Travelling Vernier Microscope. A really important piece of equipment in A level Physics, but quite tricky to read
Notice how, as the Energy of the particles increases, they take up more space (Volume increases), unless the volume is not allowed to increase, in which case the Pressure (amount & intensity of collisions) increases instead. Please contact me if you would like to know more about this.
Today’s video shows the “shuttling ball” demonstration. Where a metallised sphere transfers charge between a positively charged, and a negatively charged steel plate. Physics is so cool. If you want to learn more about this, or any school Science, please contact me 😊
Jelly undergoing resonance, at about 20.4Hz. Who says that Science isn’t fun 😊

If you have Chemistry or Combined Science exams coming up, it is always worth learning the Names & Symbols of the first 20 Elements of the Periodic table, in their correct order. Why? Because if you know the element, and it’s position in the table, you therefore know it’s Atomic Number, which is also the number of Protons in its nucleus, and the number of Electrons in the atom too. 4 useful tools in one 😊 Please get in touch if you would like to know more

Make sure that you know these equations for your GCSE exams. They often come up. Notice that Respiration is the Opposite to Photosynthesis. Want to know more? Please contact me.
An interesting look at Gravity here. Objects that are propelled forwards, still fall towards the ground at exactly the same rate as objects that are just falling vertically. Note the 2 balls hit the ground at the same time in the video. The force of gravity, pulling objects towards the Earths surface, is the same, regardless of any horizontal motion the object may have.
You don’t need to be a Physics student to appreciate the awesomeness of the Linear Air Track 😊
