Today the team had the privilege of taking part in training with Ben Kingston-Hughes from Inspired Children reminding us why play is so important for our children.
It was an inspiring and thought-provoking session that reinforced the vital role play has in supporting children's learning, development, wellbeing, creativity, and confidence. As early years educators, it's so important that we continue to champion play and create environments where children can explore, imagine, take risks, and learn in ways that are meaningful to them.
Thank you, Ben, for sharing your passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm with us. We're looking forward to putting what we've learned into practice and continuing to provide the very best experiences for the children in our care.

Theres still time to take part in a short survey as part of the Mansfield Getting School Ready project which aims to make sure children in Mansfield start school happy, healthy and ready to learn, by helping schools, services and families to work better together.
The survey asks about the people, services and places you connect with to support your child before they start school, such as schools, nurseries, family hubs or council services.
Your answers will help show what support is working well and how things could be improved for families.
This survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes. When you complete it you will be entered into a draw to win a £20 Love2Shop voucher. Your responses will be kept confidential.
