It’s time to celebrate! 💙

Today, our GCSE and Level 2 technical and vocational students have discovered the results of all their hard work – and looking ahead to exciting next steps at college, university and beyond. 🌟

There have been plenty of proud moments, happy faces and celebrations throughout the day from both teenagers and adult learners who have retaken their GCSEs to help them with future jobs or life goals.

📢 Students expecting results for GCSEs or certain Level 2 technical and vocational qualifications on Thursday 20 August should visit wnc.ac.uk/students/results-days for details about the arrangements for collecting them.

🕗 Results for the qualifications listed on the webpage can be collected between 8am and 11am in The Diner, located on the second floor of the Derby Road campus, Mansfield, NG18 5BH.

📮 Please note that qualifications not listed on the webpage fall outside this national results day and will be posted to students home addresses once the college has received them from the awarding body.

📧 Students who are unsure whether this applies to them, or have any other queries, should email our exams team at [email protected] quoting their student ID number.

🚧 Students travelling to the Derby Road campus from the direction of Mansfield town centre to collect their results should allow extra time for their journey. A section of the A60 Nottingham Road is closed for gas mains replacement works and all traffic is being diverted via Berry Hill Lane and Litchfield Lane in both directions. If you're travelling by bus, services 240 and the Pronto are affected, with bus stops between Berry Hill Lane and Litchfield Lane not being served. Please use the alternative stops at Forest Road or Litchfield Lane instead.

On VJ Day (Victory over Japan Day), we honour all those from across the UK and Commonwealth who served and sacrificed, especially in the Far East, who helped bring the Second World War to an end.
