All Saints’ Celebrates Strong GCSE Results!

All Saints’ Catholic Voluntary Academy is proud to celebrate the achievements of its students following the publication of this year’s GCSE results. The results reflect the hard work, commitment and determination shown by students, alongside the support provided by staff and families.

Carlo Cuomo, Headteacher at All Saints’, said:
“We are incredibly proud of our students and everything they have achieved. These results are a testament to their perseverance, ambition and hard work, as well as the support they have received from staff and their families. Whether our students are moving on to sixth form, college, apprenticeships or employment, we know they are well prepared for the next stage of their journey. We wish them every success for the future.”

All Saints’ Celebrates A-level Success! ⭐️💫

A huge congratulations to all our year 13 students who received their results this week! We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the excellent results All Saints’ has achieved yet again.

Students have secured places at a wide range of universities, including Manchester, Liverpool and Nottingham, with others accessing degree apprenticeships and training programmes. Their achievements reflect the hard work, resilience and ambition they have demonstrated throughout Sixth Form, alongside the dedication and support of staff and families.

Many students will now start their next exciting chapter either at university, a degree apprenticeship or the world of work. Applications to join All Saints’ Sixth Form this September remain open, with places still available across a range of courses. Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope this letter finds you well.
I am writing to introduce myself as the school’s new Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) at All Saints’ Catholic Academy, beginning in September. I understand that changes in staffing - particularly in a role as important as this - may feel unsettling, and I would like to take this opportunity to reassure you of my commitment to supporting both you and your child through this transition.
I have been a teacher of English at the school for the past twenty-three years, and during that time I have had the privilege of working closely with many students and families. This experience has given me a strong understanding of our school community, as well as the diverse needs of our young people. I am deeply committed to ensuring that every student is supported to thrive, both academically and personally.
I recognise how important consistency, communication, and trust are when it comes to supporting students with additional needs. Please be assured that I will work closely with staff, students, and families to maintain continuity of support and to build positive, collaborative relationships with you.
To help make this transition as smooth as possible, I will be organising an opportunity during the first term for parents and carers to meet me. This will provide you with a chance to ask questions, share any concerns, and begin to build the partnerships that are so vital to effective SEN provision. Further details about this meeting will follow in due course.
