Year 11 Retreat Day
Last Friday, our Year 11 students enjoyed a wonderful retreat day, beginning with a walk to our parish church where they celebrated Mass with our new Assistant Parish Priest, Fr Evarist. It was a lovely opportunity for the students to come together in prayer and to mark this important stage of their school journey.
In the afternoon, the students explored different personality types and reflected on their own strengths, as well as how they can communicate and work effectively with others. Through a range of activities, they discovered more about themselves and how their different qualities can help them to work together as a team.

We are excited to share our next attendance challenge! Challenge 25 is back! We challenge students to attend every day for 25 days (5 weeks) when we start back after October half term on Monday 2nd November. (Please note medical appointments and any valid authorised absence will not impact). Students will be rewarded with an extended break with Christmas treats and will be entered into a prize drawer to win vouchers up to £50! Go for it!

Subject: Meet the SENCO - Appointment Update

Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you for your interest in our Meet the SENCO event taking place on Thursday 8th October.

All available appointments for this event have now been booked. Due to the high level of interest, we have arranged an additional Meet the SENCO session for Thursday 14th January next term. This will provide another opportunity for parents and carers to discuss their child's needs, share any concerns, and work collaboratively with the school to support their child.

If you would like to arrange an appointment sooner, please email [email protected], and we will do our best to arrange a suitable meeting time.

The All Saints' Way theme this week is Inspire! These students have certainly inspired us inside and outside the classroom! Well done!

On behalf of the Y13 leadership team, we would like to say a massive thank you to all staff, students and parents who contributed in many ways to last Friday's Macmillan Coffee morning! The morning raised £184.63. The money will run their Online Community forum for 7 hours. In this time, 392 people affected by cancer in the UK can read, share experiences and support each other. Thank you again!

Over the last few weeks some of our Year 11 students have had the opportunity to visit West Notts College to find out about the courses they are interested in applying for. So far we have visited Animal Care, Electrician courses and this week it was Motor Vehicle. Students are excited to now get their applications in!

This week students had the opportunity to visit the extra curricular recruitment fair. Students looked around the stalls from each club and leadership opportunity and talked to students about the exciting opportunities. We look forward to students getting involved and contributing to the school community.
