🌈 Wellbeing Wednesday: “My Feelings Garden” 🌸

A lovely activity to help children recognise, express and talk about their emotions through flowers, colours and sensory play.

Nothing makes us smile more than hearing how much our families value the care and support we provide. 🥰

The toddlers have loved exploring all our grass area this week. ☀️

We have practiced our risk taking skills on the climbing frame and stepping stones. 🧗

We have found dinosaurs roaming around, heading to the mud kitchen to make them dinner to eat. 🦖 🦕

They have found lady birds around the garden, remembering to be gentle with them as they crawl on their fingers and hands. 🐞

We have found stories in the shed and took a look through them with our friends. 📖

What a wonderful week of exploring. 🐝 🌳

🚀✨ Our babies have had an out-of-this-world adventure this week as they zoomed off into space! 🌎🌙⭐

Through imaginative play, sensory exploration, stories and creative activities, our little astronauts have been discovering the wonders of space. From blasting off in rockets to exploring the moon and sparkling stars, their curiosity and imaginations have been shining brightly. 🚀💫

It has been wonderful to see the children exploring, learning and having so much fun together as they reached for the stars! 🌟💙

🐸 Feeding the Hungry Phonics Frog! 🐸

Our Preschool children had so much fun taking part in our Phonics Frog activity!
We gathered together to explore our letter sounds, practising saying each sound clearly before searching for the letters that belonged to each of our Preschool friends. Once everyone had found their special letter, the excitement began as the children took turns to identify their letter, say its sound, and feed it to our very hungry Phonics Frog! 🐸💚

Activities like this are a fantastic way to develop early phonics skills, support letter recognition, build confidence in hearing and saying letter sounds, and encourage listening, concentration and turn-taking—all through fun, play-based learning.

We are so proud of how enthusiastic and engaged everyone was.

🐯🧡 The Tiger Who Came to Tea! 🧡🐯

This week, our babies have been enjoying the wonderful story 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea'! 📚✨

Our little explorers were amazed to discover a big tiger made from orange and black coloured rice! 🐅🖤🧡 They loved investigating the different textures by using their hands and exploring the sensory scarves, encouraging their curiosity and sensory development. 🌈🤲

We enjoyed reading the story together while exploring our themed tuff tray, bringing the book to life through sensory play. 📖💛

Some of our babies became so engrossed in their exploration that they couldn't resist investigating with their feet too! 👣😊 We love encouraging children to learn through play, using all of their senses to discover the world around them.
