πŸͺ🌈✨ Biscuit Decorating Fun! ✨🌈πŸͺ

Today, our nursery children had a wonderful time getting creative as they decorated their very own biscuits! πŸ‘©β€πŸ³πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³πŸ’•

The children showed fantastic concentration as they carefully spread the icing onto their biscuits, taking their time to cover them before adding lots of colourful sprinkles! They had so much fun choosing their sprinkles and creating their own delicious masterpieces! 🎨πŸͺ🌈

This yummy activity was a fantastic opportunity for the children to develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as they practised spreading, scooping and sprinkling. It also encouraged their creativity, independence and decision-making as they explored different ways to decorate their biscuits. 🌟

We were so proud of how carefully the children worked, showing lots of patience and determination. There were plenty of smiles and excitement as they admired their finished creations! πŸ₯°πŸ‘

What a lovely morning filled with creativity, learning and, of course, lots of yummy fun! Our little bakers did an amazing job! πŸͺ❀️✨

Our nursery children have been having lots of fun exploring our autumn-themed tuff tray! πŸŽƒπŸ•·οΈπŸ›

With colourful autumn rice, leaves, pumpkins and creepy crawlies, there was so much to discover! The children enjoyed scooping, tipping, pouring and filling different containers, using their little hands to explore the different textures and colours. πŸ₯„πŸ

Our magnifying glasses were a big hit as the children became little explorers, investigating the insects hiding amongst the autumn leaves! πŸ”πŸœ

What a lovely way to develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, curiosity and early mathematical language, all through sensory play! πŸ§‘πŸ’›β€οΈ

Our nursery children had a ROAR-some time exploring our dinosaur tuff tray today! From stomping dinosaurs through the jungle and discovering fossils in the sand to exploring the water, volcano and different textures, there was so much to investigate. πŸ¦–πŸ’¦πŸŒΏ

Tuff tray play is not only lots of fun, it also provides some wonderful learning opportunities. Through today’s dinosaur adventure, the children were developing their imagination and creativity, building their communication and language as they created their own stories, and strengthening their fine motor skills as they moved and explored the different resources.

The different textures and materials also offered a fantastic sensory experience, while encouraging curiosity, problem-solving and understanding of the world. Playing alongside their friends supported sharing, turn-taking and social interaction too.

It was lovely to see so much excitement, curiosity and imaginative play happening around the tray today! πŸ₯°πŸ¦•πŸŒ‹

We have had the most amazing day at Wiggles and Giggles Nursery celebrating Give Like Dolly Day and supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library! βœ¨πŸ’•

The children have had so much fun taking part in lots of different Dolly and country-themed activities throughout the day. 🀠🌡🐴

We explored our Wild West sensory tray, scooping, pouring and discovering all the different cowboy-themed objects. The children also got creative with activities inspired by Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors, enjoying lots of opportunities for colouring, creating and talking about colours. πŸŽ¨πŸŒˆπŸ“š

And of course, it wouldn’t be Dolly Day without some music! 🎢🀠 We turned up the country music, got the balloons out and had the best time dancing, singing and having lots of fun together! πŸŽˆπŸ’ƒπŸ•Ίβœ¨

It has been so lovely seeing the children enjoying stories, music, creativity and play while supporting such a wonderful cause. β€οΈπŸ“–
