✨ Wonder was everywhere in Class 2 this week! ✨

To celebrate National Poetry Day, Class 2 became poetry explorers! 🔎📖 We headed off around school on a special wonder walk, stopping to investigate different objects and really think about what was around us.

The children used their five senses to explore what they could see, hear, smell and feel before coming up with lots of imaginative ‘I wonder…?’ questions. 👀👂👃🖐️💭

These questions gave us lots of ideas to spark our imaginations and help us create our own wonderful poetry. ✍️🌟

What a lovely way to celebrate poetry and discover that inspiration can be found in the most unexpected places! 💫

📚✨ A fantastic week of English in Class 3! ✨📚

Class 3 have been working incredibly hard in our English lessons this week! We have been learning how to identify, use and correctly punctuate fronted adverbials, and we have linked our writing to our Romans topic, creating some fantastic sentences and ideas along the way. 🏛️✍️

We also celebrated National Poetry Day, with this year’s theme being ‘Wonder’. 🌟

The children moved around our school, looking closely at the world around them and thinking of questions they would like to ask. These ‘I wonder…’ questions helped to inspire their own poetry writing and encouraged them to think creatively about the people, places and things around them. 💭📖

Well done, Class 3, for all your hard work, creativity and enthusiasm this week! 🌟👏

Well done to our first Staff Member of the week who was chosen by our new school council 👏 😀 💫
