Here at Welcome Nursery Mansfield we have been learning all about the people in our community and the jobs they do. We was lucky enough to have a visit from Mansfield Police Station who came and spoke with the Children explaining what they do each and every day to keep us safe. The children got to sit in the police car and they even got to listen to the sirens, they all had lots of fun learning about a day in the life of a police officer.
Thank you to Mansfield Police Station for coming out and visiting to us we had lots of fun.

Here at Welcome Nursery we are big believers in staying fit and healthy, we have fortnightly visits from Super Star Sports who come to our Nursery and do lots of fun activities with the Children helping to promote being fit and healthy.

Here at Welcome Nursery Mansfield we are going to be having a Valentine Dance 💃🕺. On Monday 14th February 11:00am-1:00 pm we will be dancing, having party games and we will also have king's and queens of the dance, plus lots more fun and exciting activities. If you would like to come along with your Chid/Children to join in with the fun you are more than welcome too, just drop us a message so we can add them to our list as spaces are fast running out.

This Month our Children have become pen pals with a sister Nursery in St Helens, we have been busy writing letters to other Children and drawing pictures of what we like to do at our Nursery. All our Children are super excited to receive a letter back. 😁

Here are a few photos taken of the room set up to do with our topic of the month 'People who help us' We have done a variety of different activities: colouring in pictures of fireman and policeman, making own versions of vehicles and also some messy play with shaving foam to build things. We have also had the scissors out for the children to cut out the pictures and match them with the correct helper, eg fire engine to the fireman

Here at Mansfield Nursery we are going to be offering stay and play sessions for you and your Child/Children to come and have a look around our amazing nursery, you and your Child can have lots of fun getting messy, making arts and crafts and lots of other exciting things.
Our stay and play Sessions are every Wednesday 09:30-11:30
It is £1.50 per Child per session and that includes a little snack too!
