Wish we'd have timed things better, driving to the Wollaton Hall and Deer Park for an event, and missed parking up for proper waves and photos of the Bike run ☹️

Seeing as the kids call me the Pancake Queen, I knew it would only be a matter of time before one of them asked to learn how to make them. This morning Leo conveniently waiting until I cleaned the kitchen, to then ask just that.
I dont follow a recipe, i got by consistency, so I couldn't really use that towards numeracy, so we searched for a recipe first and he followed that one instead 😊 if he doesn't use these new skills to surprise me with breakfast in bed one day, we'll be having words 🀣

Today the kids went for their first eye test.
Leo spotted Harlies eyeball on a screen and that just opened a whole can of worms of questions. Turned a routine appointment into a biology lesson πŸ˜…

6 pages into this home ed report I've had to write.
I should have just become a teacher. Teachers don't even write this much per pupil 🀣 and certainly never this in depth or personalised.

Today we attended a free Sugarcraft workshop hosted at ATTFE College in the Community.

Harlie was in her element humming the "happy birthday" song to herself repeatedly.

Leo just couldnt stop creating; asking for more the moment he finished a biscuit 🀣

Connor cae with us too, he was enjoying himself until he dyed himself red,... and to be fair, so did I, but mine was definitely not as bad 🀣

Richard mastered his icing, and I masters roses πŸ’β€β™€οΈ

I hate how FB reduces the quality πŸ™„
But hey ho, the kids thought it was "So beautiful!" So that makes me happy 😊
Mansfield District Council - My Mansfield Mansfield Light Night
I said to Richard Collins, I would absolutely love it if there was a lit trail like this, without the music, as a permanent feature. I'd stick my headphones in and walk laps! The sensory aspect changed my mood instantly.

We're not "learning" today.

Thought I'd start recording to show how I have one child communicating by "aye aye aye" in various sounds, and another child communicating by purring and meowing πŸ™„
Instead started recording and Harlie ends up rolling off the bed πŸ˜… and has now proceeded to climb back on and roll off the bed in a new style each time.
this is literally my life in a nutshell πŸ™ˆ
