What a day to remember! One of the highlights was taking on the climbing tower π§ββοΈ. Together, we stepped outside our comfort zones, challenged ourselves, and celebrated every achievement along the way. π

We have been looking at the role of a lifeguard this week. ππ»
We learnt about how they are trained to help people in need, the uniform they wear and the important equipment they use such as whistles and buoys. We even created our own rescue scenario in the pool, where we applied emergency first aid and saved our casualty. π«Ά
It has been amazing to see the pupils grow in confidence and work on their teamwork skills, well done everyone! β€οΈ

For Mental Health Awareness Week, we have been learning about positive affirmations and exploring ways to help their bodies feel calm, safe, and happy. πβ¨
We have enjoyed a range of sensory regulation and relaxation activities using different calming equipment and techniques. π§π΅π«

Learners in Researchers 2 visited the local charity shop to buy games for class on a budget of just Β£5 each π²π·
They carefully chose some brilliant games for everyone to enjoy, showing fantastic teamwork and thoughtful decision making π€©
These trips help learners build confidence, practise money skills, and learn how to make choices while having fun together π

In Art, some of our classes explored the work of Jackson Po***ck and brought his style to life. We poured, dripped, and splattered using buckets, watering cans, sieves, and even a koosh ball
There was plenty of paint, a bit of icing sugar, and a lot of fun along the way π

We have had a lovely first week back, welcoming parents into the school, taking part in new sports activities and enjoying our new extended outdoor play area. π
