🌎🎶 We have been exploring instruments from countries hosting the World Cup, and this week our music journey took us to Mexico!

We explored the wonderful sounds of the guitar and maracas. 🎸🪇 It has been fantastic to discover new music, cultures, and instruments together! 💛

Today we want to thank our teachers for the patience, kindness and support they show our pupils throughout the year. 💛🎉

Whether its extra guidance during lessons or inspiring new thoughts and ideas, we are so grateful for all their the hard work and effort.🫶

🌟 Lea Green day trip 🌟

What a day to remember! One of the highlights was taking on the climbing tower 🧗‍♂️. Together, we stepped outside our comfort zones, challenged ourselves, and celebrated every achievement along the way. 🙌

We have been looking at the role of a lifeguard this week. 🏊🏻

We learnt about how they are trained to help people in need, the uniform they wear and the important equipment they use such as whistles and buoys. We even created our own rescue scenario in the pool, where we applied emergency first aid and saved our casualty. 🫶

It has been amazing to see the pupils grow in confidence and work on their teamwork skills, well done everyone! ❤️

For Mental Health Awareness Week, we have been learning about positive affirmations and exploring ways to help their bodies feel calm, safe, and happy. 🌈✨

We have enjoyed a range of sensory regulation and relaxation activities using different calming equipment and techniques. 🧘🎵💫

Learners in Researchers 2 visited the local charity shop to buy games for class on a budget of just £5 each 🎲💷

They carefully chose some brilliant games for everyone to enjoy, showing fantastic teamwork and thoughtful decision making 🤩

These trips help learners build confidence, practise money skills, and learn how to make choices while having fun together 💚

In Art, some of our classes explored the work of Jackson Po***ck and brought his style to life. We poured, dripped, and splattered using buckets, watering cans, sieves, and even a koosh ball

There was plenty of paint, a bit of icing sugar, and a lot of fun along the way 😄

The results speak for themselves—bold, creative, and full of expression 🌈

A week filled with sunshine and smiles☀️

We have had a lovely first week back, welcoming parents into the school, taking part in new sports activities and enjoying our new extended outdoor play area. 🏓

We can't wait to see what the rest of the term has in store for us! 💚
