Year 2 COβ Workshop Visit π
Year 2 had a fantastic visit from Co-Crew COβ, who delivered a fun and engaging workshop all about how we can help look after our planet.
The children learned what COβ is, why itβs important to reduce it, and how small changes like walking more and switching off lights can make a big difference. They asked thoughtful questions and showed great enthusiasm throughout the session!
Thank you to Co-Crew COβ for inspiring our children to become young planet protectors π±

ππ What a fantastic DT Day in Key Stage One! ππ
Our KS1 children worked brilliantly together to plan, prepare and enjoy two delicious, nutritious dishes! π©βπ³π¨βπ³
They cooked up a warming casserole π² for their hot dish and created a bright, colourful rainbow salad ππ₯ for their cold dish- full of fresh, healthy ingredients!
Throughout the day, pupils showed excellent teamwork, followed safe food preparation practices, and grew in confidence when selecting and preparing healthy foods.
We are so proud of their enthusiasm, cooperation and effort - well done everyone! ππ

This term in PE we have been learning the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. To throw, we make sure the ridge of the frisbee faces downwards so our thumb stays firmly in place. We use the crocodile catch, where one hand goes on top and the other goes underneath, snapping together like a crocodileβs mouth to trap the frisbee. By practising our precision and technique, we can make better passes, improve our catches, and work together as a team. Check out our warm up, that was a improve out communication and coordination π₯
