Manningtree High School MHS is a wonderful school. Manningtree High is a school rated 'Good' by OfSTED (2018).

Visitors typically describe it as ‘so calm’ and ‘warm and welcoming.’ During our most recent Ofsted inspection the lead inspector commented – “You have a lovely school here.” Our students consistently achieve GCSE results that are amongst the best in the Colchester and Tendring areas. Typically 99% of our students transfer at age 16 to sixth form studies, further education or employment with training. On the 1st September 2019 Manningtree High School became a member of the Alpha Trust, joining the Gilberd School, Colchester, Colchester County High School for Girls, Home Farm Primary School and the planned Trinity School in that Multi Academy Trust (MAT).
