CASTING CALL!
A Producer from a new BBC program titled "will you be my friend?" has recently been in contact, asking us to share some information about their series :
Will You Be My Friend? follows children aged 5 to 8 who may be finding friendships a little harder than other children, whether that's due to shyness, feeling overwhelmed around other children, struggling to join in socially, or simply not having found "their people" yet. Across three half-days during the summer holidays, child psychologists help each child build confidence and connection through play, before they're thoughtfully matched on a supported playdate with another child from their local area who shares similar interests and personality traits.
At the moment, we're specifically looking for a kind, confident and sociable 7 or 8 year old from the Harwich, Colchester or surrounding Essex area who enjoys being creative, imaginative play, discovering new things, history, art and making new friends. They would take part in a supported playdate with another local child as part of the series.
